The Hoosier Hikers Council is Indiana's statewide trail repairing and trail building association. The council helps to maintain and improve existing Indiana hiking trails, and build new footpaths where needed.
MATC The Maine Appalachian Trail Club is a really good source of information about the AT and current trail conditions in their area. I recommend this site to anyone wanting to hike the Appalachian Trail in the beautiful state of Maine.
Alaska Camping Camping Services Index for trip planning by location. Includes RV services, tent camping areas and local information listings. Now you can view the local information and get a better feel for the area before you arrive.
The Red River Gorge, located in The Daniel Boone National Forrest in eastern Kentucky, is one of my favorite places for hiking and backpacking. The gorge is unique in that because of the differing elevations of the gorge area, you can find all of the variety of the eastern United States in one location.
